Victorian Handkerchief Pin
Okay, this isn't exactly a Victorian pin, but it kind of looks like a Victorian handkerchief folded neatly. This is a super simple craft to make and there are tons of variations to adapt it to just about any theme you want. It would also make a great Mother's Day present!
What You'll Need:
- 1 - 2 inch paper heart doily
- 6 inches of pink ribbon
- Pin back
- White glue (or glue gun)
What to Do:
1. Turn the front of the heart doily toward you and upside down, and lay it on a flat surface.
2. Put some glue in the middle of the doily. The middle should be somewhere around where the dip in the more solid heart in the doily is.
3. Fold the two rounded parts of the doily at the bottom in toward each other. It will kind of look like a cone shape. Press the part where the doilies overlap into the glue from step 2. Hold in place until it sticks, but don't crease the doily. Now it kind of looks like a handkerchief.
4. Tie your pink ribbon into a bow and glue it in the middle of the handkerchief.
5. Glue the pin back to the back of the handkerchief you've created.
This makes a very delicate looking pin for Valentine's Day and it's super easy!
