Spring Chick Craft

Spring Chick Craft

I wanted to create something eazy and cute for kids,i work in kindergarden and creating art and craft projects for little ones.
They love cutting and pasting. The best thing is when they can play with their finished crafts or show their parents.

here is my spring chick

Chris added:

1. Cut two large identical egg shapes out of white construction paper.

2. Cut one of the paper eggs in half with a zig zag cut so that it looks like it's cracked in half.

3. Make a chick out of yellow construction paper and glue it onto the egg shape that you didn't cut.

4. Glue the bottom of the bottom of the cut egg over the top of the chick.

5. Use a brad to attach the top of the cracked egg to the egg so that you can open and close it to expose the hatching chick.
