Months of the Year/Seasons
This section is pretty straight forward. Most young children don't have a very good sense of time, so I start out the beginning of each month with some projects geared toward that month, then I periodically do others throughout the same month and on the very last day to remind them where we are on the calendar. The seasons are usually done pretty much the same way. I often use the seasons as fillers when there aren't any holidays or other special events to work on.

Here are some links to other kid craft idea resources that I've personally used.
The Giant Encyclopedia of Theme Activities for Children 2 to 5 - This book is a reliable and well-used part of my kid craft library, even though it seems to be aimed at teachers. I didn't discover it until after I had already started developing my own themes. If I had, it would have saved me a lot of work in the beginning.
The Toddler's Busy Book - This book is full of inspirational ideas for crafting with very young children (any parent of a toddler can tell you this is a challenge!). Even though it's for toddlers, my oldest still enjoys the projects. You can't go wrong with this one.
The Little Hands Art Book/Exploring Arts & Crafts With 2-To 6-Year-Olds - This is another really fun book that I refer to often. This is another excellent choice if you're looking for kid craft idea books!
FamilyFun Crafts: 500 Creative Activities for You and Your Kids
- There are more fun craft ideas in this book than you can shake a stick out -- expecially if your kids are a little bit older. The best part of this book is that it's as fun for parents as it is for kids!
