Cute Little Easter Lamb
This cute little Easter lamb is sure to bring a smile to anyone's face who sees it! It may look a little complicated, but it's easy enough for even younger children to make with a little help. Sorry the picture isn't better!
What You'll Need:
- 4 Toilet Paper Tubes
- White Paint & Brush
- Black Marker
- Thin cardboard
- Scissors
- Cotton
- Glue
- Stapler
What to Do:
1. Staple the 4 toilet paper tubes so that them are all even and form a square. These will be the legs.
2. Paint the legs white and let dry completely. When dry, draw on the lamb's feet with the black marker.
3. Cut a piece of thin cardboard for the lamb's back. The cardboard should be large enough to cover all four tube legs and should have a straight, flat edge where the head fits onto the body. Glue this piece onto the legs.
4. Cut a piece of thin cardboard into the shape of the lamb's head. Paint white if necessary, and draw on the lamb's face with the black marker.
5. Glue the head onto the front of the lamb's body.
6. Glue cotton balls onto the lamb's back and the top part of his head, between his ears. Let dry.
Tips:
When assembling the lamb, it goes a lot faster for little ones to just hot glue the back and head onto the legs. That way they can get right to the cotton -- their favorite part!
We used a thick white paper plate to make the back and the head, that way we didn't have to paint them.
